Einfluss von Störfaktoren auf die 14C-Datierung pleistozäner und holozäner Materialien
Abstract. Every 14C age date should be understood in the context of the 14C-dating method if the date is to have significance. Therefore. it is essential to know the problems and uncertamties of the 14C-dating method. These can be grouped in an intrinsic part containing physical. geophysical and geochemical causes and in an incidental part including the whole field of contamination. Each aspect is explamed and some ex¬ amples are given.
