Tracing the appearence of keywords like geopolitics or the Cold War the manuscript draws on media discourses of the past 75 years to show which phases of emergence, disappearance, and reactualization they go through and how the long-lasting discursive archives of geopolitics powerfully weave themselves into current geopolitical representations.
